Max was born and raised in Auburn, Indiana. He attended Valparaiso University for both his undergraduate and Juris doctorate degrees. Following graduation from law school and having been admitted to the practice of law, Max joined the firm of Nieter, Dixon and Whitmore. Max ventured out and formed his own law office in 1996. He was soon joined by his son, Rob. Max and his son Rob, joined Perry Law Office P.C. in May 2019.
Over the years, Max has provided legal counsel in a variety of areas ranging from debt collection and creditor’s rights to Estate Planning. His focus in the last decade has been on Elder Law. He periodically leads seminars on estate planning and elder law.
Max thoroughly enjoys volunteering in a variety of capacities. His efforts include service for 25 years as the Law Post adviser for the local chapter of the Boy Scouts for which he received the James E. West award among many others. Max has also taken a leadership role in his church and the community. Currently, he is the Board Chair for Lutheran Military Veterans and Families Ministries, Inc. In his free time, Max enjoys golf, fishing, and reading.
